Day 149: Bugs Bunny Salad

Day 149 of #365 Creative #Ideas to do with your kids: I am guessing you kids don’t like eating salads? But, a salad doesn’t have to come in a bowl, or even have lots of leaves! Get creative with different plates and bowls and vary the ingredients to make basic salads into something fun and yummy to eat. Most kids prefer plain salads, with only olive oil and salt as a dressing. Some kids don’t like their salads ‘mushed up’, so keep the ingredients separate if it makes them happy.
Bugs Bunny salad: A few lettuce leaves, a hard-boiled egg, some cucumber, carrots and a
cherry tomato might be all you need to persuade your kids to eat their veggies. Prepare one face as a guide, then hand over the ingredients and leave the kids to create their own bunny faces.
