Day 145: Skittles

Day 145 of #365 Creative #Ideas to do with your kids: Do your kids like playing skittles? This game improves your kids’ handeye and foot-eye coordination, their counting technique and dexterity – while they take part in fun activities. It also teaches them to share and
take turns.
You will need:
kitchen funnel
6 x 2 L recycled milk
bottles
play sand or rice
fabric offcuts
1 x long strip of fabric
balls
To make the game:
1. Using the funnel, fill each bottle with about 5 cm of sand or rice.
2. Wrap fabric offcuts around each bottle and secure them with sticky tape or glue.
3. Use the long strip of fabric as a runway and line up the bottles. Take four to five steps backwards and draw a line on the fabric.
4. Make up your own rules: for example, knocking over all the bottles with three balls constitutes a win.
