Day 143: Iced Tea

Day 143 of #365 Creative #Ideas to do with your kids: Do you make your own healthy homemade Iced Tea. Homemade iced tea is a healthy alternative to shop bought
products, which often contain a lot of sugar. Use rooibos tea for kids instead of caffeinated teas.
4–6 rooibos tea bags
honey or stevia
lemon slices or lemon grass (optional)
mint leaves
fun cups and colourful straws
1. Make 1 litre of rooibos tea with 4–6 tea bags.
2. Sweeten to taste and set aside to cool, then place in the fridge to chill.
3. Before serving, add slices of lemon (or a piece of lemon grass) and some mint leaves.
• Add thinly sliced cucumber, strawberries or other fruits to your iced tea.
