Day 117: Leaf rubbings

Day 117 of #365 Creative #Ideas to do with your kids: Can you remember making leaf rubbings as a child? Kids are fascinated by the the instant magical picture that is created just by covering a leaf with paper and drawing with a crayon on the paper. How to make a leaf rubbing:
Find a good leaf to draw from, it should not be too cry and brittle as it will simply crumble under the pressure of the paper. Place the leaf on a hard surface. Put a white sheet of paper over the leaf. Rub a crayon, chalk, or a soft pencil on its side over the leaf. Repeat this with other leaves and colors.
