Art director. designer . stylist . author

During my 12-year design career I have shaped my experience in a number of leading retail and consumer magazine environments. I started my own business in 2002 consulting to companies requiring integrated marketing, design andretail solutions. During this time most of my clients were in the decor retail industry and required conceptual based catalogue design. I have taken projects from initial concept stage through to print ready stage, and have been responsible for the briefing of, and working with, photographers and stylists as well as the design and art direction on each project. I have also been involved in the launch issues of a number of magazines, which have required a new design and visual identity and the implementation thereof. I have just finished my first children’s decor book, Childrens Rooms, published by Struik in July 2008. My new book Cool Spaces for Kids (Hamlyn Publishers UK) is due to be released in May 2009.
