Day 81: Flying paper bird

Day 81 of #365 Creative #Ideas to do with your kids: Can you make a paper bird fly? Follow these simple instructions and show your kids how to make their own toys and games. All you need is paper, crayons, string and scissors.
1. Draw the bird, with a straight back so that the wings can fit nicely. Draw the outline of the wings.
2. Fold the wings in half and then fold each wing backwards as shown in the illustration.
3. Colour in the bird body and wings and cut them out.
4. Glue or staple the wings onto the bird’s body cut out.
5. Fasten the string to the bird and lift the bird up and down so that the wings flap.
