Day 195: Allsorts Trains

Day 195 of #365 Creative #Ideas to do with your kids: A loaf of banana bread and a packet of liquorice allsorts should give the kids something to do on a rainy afternoon.
You will need:
ready-made banana loaf
honey, to use as glue
liquorice allsorts

1. Use a sharp knife to trim the banana loaf into a rectangular shape, then cut pieces for the body of the train
(± 8 cm x 4 cm) and the driver’s cabin (± 3 cm x 4 cm).
2. Use some honey to ‘glue’ the train body and driver’s cabin together.
3. Choose four round allsorts for the wheels and attach them with honey.
4. Use liquorice allsorts squares and rounds to make the cabin windows and roof.
5. Cut a liquorice twist in half and use it for the chimney.
